As soon as the busy extension user puts the phone down, the
caller’s extension will ring. When the caller picks up
the phone, the called extension will ring.

the called extension does not answer, repeat the procedure of
dialing 4 and put the phone down. As soon as the called party
replaces the handset after using the phone, the caller will get
a ring and contact will be established. |

EXTENSION
TO EXTENSION TRANSFER |
|
| |
If
you are talking to an incoming external call or if you have
received an incoming call which has to be passed onto another
extension, FLASH THE CRADLE ONCE. This will place the caller
on music. Dial the desired extension no. if the extension picks
up the phone convey the transfer and put the phone down, the
caller will now be connected to the desired extension.

The
feature allows you to pick up a ringing extension from any other
extension. If you hear an unattended phone ringing DIAL 8. the

To
get connected to an extension to which you have to converse again,
DIAL 6 and the extension No. will be dialed again. |

One
trunk and two extensions can converse simultaneously in a conference.
Flash the CRADLE to place the calling trunk on HOLD. DIAL EXTENSION
NO. Once connected to the extension conference can be established
by flashing and DIALING1.
The party on trunk and two extensions are now in conference.

CONFERNCE
BETWEEN THREE OR MORE EXTENSIONS. |

While
talking to an extension you can call in a third extension by
flashing and dialing the third extension. Once connected to
the third ext. a three party conference can be established by
flashing and DIALING 1. Similarly more extension can be called
in a conference.

caller goes on hold.

DIVERT A CALL |

If
you are in a meeting or sitting in some other room, you can
divert your calls to the extension to which you will be available.
Dial 5XX-YY.XX stands for your EXTENSION NO. And YY is the EXTENSION
to which you are diverting the call. Diversion is available
when programmed (see facility programming) for further diversion
use the extension to which the call was diverted. For example:

Trunk
can be designated to any two extensions so that whenever a call
comes on the trunk it rings on the programmed extension. If
that extension is busy the call will go to the other designated
extension. If both are busy and the trunk is not programmed
for hopping, a BEEP would be given to the busy extension otherwise
the trunk will hop to the next free extension.

for installing the TeleMate-X11.

2=A place in the direct air stream of an air conditioner, heater

3= A place where there is poor ventilation.
4= An area where it might be splashed with water.
5=An area which is unstable.
6= A dusty location.
7= A location subject to undue vibration.
8= A place subject to sudden fluctuations in either temperature
or humidity and supply voltage.

| INSTALLATION
STEP BY STEP. |

• Drill bits masonry
• Small hammer
• Screw drivers (Phillip head and flat head)
• Cut screws.
• Cut screws
• Wall plugs or wooden packing.

| STEPS |
|
| 1. |
Choose
a suitable location and height for fixing the TeleMate-X11, preferably
near a power outlet board. |
|
| 2. |
Drill
3 holes 2 inches deep using drill bit as shown in fig.1-1,1-3. |
|
| 3. |
Hammer
wall plugs or wooden pieces in these holes. (fig.1-2) |
|
| 4. |
Drive
three cut screws in these holes till their heads remain out side
the wall about 5mm. |
|
| 5. |
Now
hang up the system on these screws and be sure that all three
screws are plugged in the three mounting key holes of the system.
|
|
| 6. |
Open
the MDF section and link up the telephones. (SEEFIG. 1-4) |
|
| 7. |
Check
wiring of telephones physically in MDF. All wires should be fully
tied. |
|
| 8. |
Place
the ADAPTER properly near the system. |
|
| 9. |
Connect
9 way socket of adapter to 9 pin system plug. |
|
| 10. |
Switch
OFF the power outlet of the board. |
|
| 11. |
Insert
adapter power plug into the power outlet fully. |
|
| 12. |
Switch
ON the power.. Check whether POWER LED of the system is ON or
OFF. |
|
| 13. |
If
POWER LED is ON, the system is ready to perform. If power LED
is OFF, switch OFF the power and check (1) power outlet (2) power
switch (3) power cable (4) connection of 9 way D-type plug and
socket (5) system power led. If the system is still dead then
replace ADAPTER.
